Microsoft Windows XP thumbnail view is a great feature in Microsoft Windows XP which enable user to preview the images instead of opening the images to view, saving us a lot of time.
Today I receive a system which the user complaint that suddenly there isn’t any filename under files or folder when she is viewing thumbnail view in her Microsoft Windows XP.
For those of you who have undergo the same problem, the solutions is quite simple.
- Hold the ‘Shift’ key and right click on the folder, any folder will do.
- Click open.
The filenames will display again in Thumbnail view in Microsoft Windows XP. And if by some reason you would like to have no filenames in Thumbnail view in Microsoft Windows XP, just repeat the same steps mention above.
One of the reason I can think of for this features, is when you disable showing filenames under thumbnail view in windows explorer, the display area is enlarge to enable windows explorer to display bigger images in Thumbnail view in Microsoft Windows XP.
